This workshop is primarily aimed at all runners, sport and fitness enthusiasts over the age of 18 who are motivated to learn more on how to move their body efficiently and how to use that mobility in their everyday life. This workshop is for people who are interested in prevention and longevity of their joints. It doesn’t teach how to cure specific medical conditions.

The course is conducted in English, so participants must have a good understanding of spoken English.

Content

During the workshop, all participants will learn why mobility is important and what are the key concepts to understand when training mobility. They will undergo a panel of mobility tests to assess their current conditions and will experience a mobility routine tailored to those needs. This routine includes stretching, corrective exercises, active mobility movement, and myofascial release exercises. A segment will be dedicated to a full body mobility routine and manual therapy aiming at restoring mobility.

Time: On your own, one daily 5-10 min video.

Location: Online

Goal

This challenge is to initiate you to mobility training. It requires no experience!

More specifically, you will improve flexibility, reduce pain, and feel amazing in just 10 minutes/day!

Who is this course for

This course is for you if:

  1. You want to improve your flexibility and reduce stiffness in your daily movements.

  2. You likely sit for long hours at work, spends time caring for family, or are noticing the natural effects of aging.

  3. You value your health and want to feel more energetic and pain-free, but struggle with finding time for complex workouts.

  4. You seek simple, approachable, and effective ways to improve mobility and overall well-being.

  5. You are motivated by the desire to feel better in your body and maintain independence and ease in daily activities.

How does it work

After you are registered, you only have to wait until the beginning of the challenge on 24.02.

On February 24, 2025, you will receive your first email with the first mobility video in it. Every day, and for 7 days, you will receive a similar email with a new daily routine to complete (every day is a different theme, see below in the schedule). The sessions are NOT live, so you can do them when you wish during the day. You can also save the videos’link to do them later. Each daily routine last 5–10 minutes.

- Understand basic mobility requirements for military personnel;
- Know how to mobilize and strengthen 3 major joints of the body (upper back, shoulder and hips); and
- Participate in a functional training circuit.

Who is this course for

This cause is primarily aimed at all sport and fitness enthusiasts over the age of 18 who are motivated to learn more on how to move their body efficiently and how to use that mobility in their everyday job and life. Experience in sport and fitness is recommended (variants will be provided for beginners).

While primarily aimed at reservists, space permitting, other individuals over 18 years old can also attend. The course is conducted in English, so participants must have a good command of spoken and written English. No translation is provided.

Content

During the workshop, all participants will learn why they should treat their military profession with an athlete mentality. Participants will learn about the 3 main joints and their mechanics. They undergo a panel of mobility tests to assess their current conditions and will experience a mobility routine tailored to those needs. This routine includes stretching, corrective exercises, active mobility movement, and myofascial release exercises. A segment will be dedicated to a functional training session. Check-in starts at 16:30. The course runs from 17:00 to 19:00.

Who is this course for

No fitness experience required; this course is beginner-friendly. It's for individuals eager to improve how their body works and want to address muscle imbalances for pain-free movement.

While primarily aimed at reservists, space permitting, other individuals over 18 years old can also attend. The course is conducted in English, so participants must have a good command of spoken and written English. No translation is provided, and teaching is not translated into Finnish. Instruction is solely in English, and participants must understand both spoken and written language to engage.

Content

During the workshop, all participants will undergo a panel of mobility tests to assess their current conditions and will experience a mobility routine tailored to those needs. This routine includes stretching, corrective exercises, active mobility movement, and myofascial release exercises. A segment will be dedicated to micro treatments for those interested in manual therapy techniques. Check-in starts at 16:30. The course runs from 17:00 to 19:00.
